Past Media coverage Clearwater on the front page of the Sunday Seattle Times, April 1, 2007 Recently Seattle Times reporter Linda Shaw and and photographer Thomas James Hurst spent many hours at Clearwater interviewing and photographing students and staff, observing and sometimes participating in some of the day's activities. To our delight, on April 1, 2007, Linda's article and Thomas' photos appeared under the lead headline, "No assignments. No tests. No grades. Parents say, 'No problem.'" We are grateful for the amount of time, care and research Linda put into her article and are excited by the result. Click here to read the article online. Play Days at Clearwater

Most Tuesdays, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM

(We have temporarily suspended Play Days in January 2009 and may also cancel some in February because we are remodeling one of our buildings and are short on space for guests. We will put a notice on our home page when Play Days resume.)

The Clearwater School is hosting Play Days for parents, toddlers and preschoolers. At Play Days your children can engage in free play and you and your child can observe Clearwater students and staff activities and interactions. Play Days are every Tuesday, from November 2008 through May 2009, except for December 23 and 30, January 6, February 17, April 7 and May 26. If you would like to join us for one or more dates, please call (425-489-2050) or email The Clearwater School to reserve a space. Reservations are required.

Clearwater Table at Tilth Harvest Fair

Saturday September 6, 2008, 10am - 5pm

Every year The Clearwater School has an information table at Seattle Tilth's Harvest Fair. Drop by to ask questions and pick up information about Clearwater. The Harvest Fair is also a great place to buy wonderful produce, buy plants, eat great food, hear good music and get lots of information about sustainable, organic gardening.
